Qwest told me they'd have my new package installed Thursday or Friday.

It's after 5PM, Friday, and my speed rate is still the same. :cry: (I upgraded my DSL package to the new fastest speeds at low low introductary prices.) This is the spirit of service? I know that they get spirited if they don't get paid on the minute. :crazy: :D

13000k/s is my actual rate (1536 is the deal. But anything about 85% is excellent.)

My DSL modem reports 1500/990 connection anyway.

Maybe they're running behind; they've bene on time before.

4. qwest offered me 30 free days..

25 of those got used while my line was prepared. Then they sent me the Windows software to install when I had told them I used a Macintosh. When I called the tech support person they had the balls to ask why I used a Mac when the whole world uses Windows. Long story short. It took about sixty days to get working. But thirty of them were free. I now use Comcast..
