So who is addicted to DU?

I have come here for over 2 years and am addicted to DU. I love the amount of info you can get and I especially love the Greatest Page. I go there and get the main threads and events that have happened during the day when I'm not able to log on. This place has really helped me feel like I'm not alone out there in the way I feel and what I believe in. Thanks DU!

Okay, I have had a couple of glasses of wine and am feeling a little tipsy, but what the hell! I love it here!

My cable went out last week, I didn't miss the TV but I was annoyed about having to resort to using dial-up for two days.

I don't know what I'd do if I couldn't get on the net....We have DSL..and all our wiring is underground, so we're probably safe...but still what a scary thought! :scared:

our phone lines are very old and underground - I use my TV cable provider for my computer service ... we're not in the wilderness but it seems that way at times :grr:

They say porn is addicting - well I'm surrounded by all the free porn of every (legal) variety you can imagine. But I'm here reading DU all day and night.

I don't even read the magazines anymore.
