The despised Cubs lose (again).

The Minnesota Twins (respected rivals of the beloved White Sox) lose.

Cold glass of Chardonnay in my hand.

My dog at my side.

A Leslie Nielsen movie on the tube.

Tomorrow is Father's day.

Beat that.

I just had a knock-down drag-out fight with my wife over a f**ckin' backyard barbeque GRILL, for Pete's sake. Spending Saturday night shopping all over looking for one and then lugging back home was not how I wanted to spend the evening. Then we get it home, and THEN she decides to comparison shop! Yep, the wrong effing grill. So we gotta lug it back and get a different one.

I'm pissed. :grr:

It doesn't help that I was a jerk about it.

Now my wife and my step-son are both pissed at me, and I'm pissed at the situation.

I'm glad you're having a good evening, though. I'm happy for you. A nice cold glass of Chardonnay sounds pretty good right about now.

On the plus side, I'm listening to Roberta Flack's cover version of "Bridge Over Trouble Water". The woman's phrasing is nothing short of miraculous. :-)
