1. When I worked for a sheriff's department....
.... my fantasy was to come upon a car with east-coast or west-coast plates, in the dead of winter, broken down on the highway. I'd put on my mouton hat, put the flaps down, walk up to the couple stuck in the middle of rural Wisconsin, and start talking like they do in the movie. "Ya, sure, so you're broke down? Well, dontcha worry, we'll fix ya right up". Give them something to talk about when they got home. Never had the guts to do it.

4. As a N. Dakota native, I hated that movie at first
But now I have it on DVD and video and love it! I've always wondered though... why is it called "FARGO"? Only one scene takes place in Fargo! The rest is in MN (except for a short scene at the end outside of Bismarck, ND). Hmmmmmmmm....?

5. It wouldn't have had much appeal if it was called "Brainerd".
But then again...

6. I kinda like it!
"Brainerd"... sounds strange and interesting. Kind of looks like "brain" and "nerd".

You know, if you say that word enough times it doesn't sound right anymore.

7. Favorite lines from Fargo:
"HEY. I was bangin' that girl!"

"Oh, you are smooth, smooth, you know?"

"Is there a phone down here, ya think?"

"That's a fountain of conversation there, a geyser. I mean, whoa, daddy."
