I Swear They Ought To Rename Today "Ho"-lloween
Because every girl I see over the age of 13 is dressed like she should be accompanied by a pimp.

Sexy witches.
Sexy vampires.
Sexy fairies.

Jeebus!

I thought you were supposed to be scary on Halloween, not sexy. They might as well just merge today with Valentines Day.

PLEASE GOD...CAN I GO THE REST OF MY LIFE WITHOUT SEEING ANOTHER 15 YEAR OLD IN FISHNET STOCKINGS!!!!

I mean, not that I mind women dressing sexy. But it really throws you off when you have to calibrate in your head how old they are before you're technically allowed to oogle.

Am I right?

1. Can I please use that quote for my sigline?
"PLEASE GOD...CAN I GO THE REST OF MY LIFE WITHOUT SEEING ANOTHER 15 YEAR OLD IN FISHNET STOCKINGS!!!!"

It's... exactly what I've been feeling for years.

2. Well, step next door with me
and see Cameron Blanchard.
She's two.
She's in her butterfly costume.
If you look up "cute" in the dictionary her picture's there.

3. Yes
Unfortunately, fashion has crept into everything, so even Halloween costumes have to look like Britney Spears outfits now.

Then again, there is so little creativity anymore, I don't really care. I remember me and my mom making my own costumes when I was young - one year as one of the aliens from V, a California raisin, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle - now they just buy whatever is on the shelf, slap it on, and go bug people for candy.

7. Creativity....
I went as the Cracker Jack kid one year and it was the most creative outfit I put together so far. I wore my brothers Sea Cadet uniform looks just like the cracker jack kid.

I went as a can of Campbell's Cream of Elephant Soup. Made it myself, including directions: "Add water and run."

5. Over age 13?
I got reports from the 'rents last night that they had 6-8 yr olds coming to the door in basically nothing, stuffed bras and enough makeup to make Mann Coulter swoon...my dad says there were about three of them in a pack and he asked them what they were supposed to be and a minor argument broke out over whether they were "bratz dolls" or diva rock stars....sick sad world.... :eyes:

Seems to me most women I knoq want to look sexy, while mostguys go for as grotesque as possible. Is this some deep-seated primal thing?

All the female employees were dressed up in Halloween costumes. Needless to say, I will never look at them the same way again. Who knew they were so hot (apologies to the ladies who are offended by "hot")Whooo, the one who waited on me was dressed as a sexy cowgirl. Why yes you could help me! You can start with a Medium black and 3 sugars!

14. funny thing is
I was considering doing this for my college photography class, but I don't have any candy, so I would probably be wasting my time asking for pictures. And none of this was planned in the perverted sense, there's a portrait assignment due, fuck it, Halloween and Photography class don't match up that easy..

15. When I was in high school all the girls dressed as babies
every Halloween. I'll take "ho" as a marginal improvement.

I went as Dietrich from Aliens every year. I probably still have the helmet somewhere...

An awful lot of low-cut stuff and plaid.

It's like heaven, only goth. :-)

17. my college was a fucking bust
there were more dressed up teachers than students, then again, it's a dry campus, and classes were empty, I'm sure there's all sorts of shit going on that I'm missing right now.

fucking commuter life.

18. So long as none of the boys show up
with a nylon stocking over their head ("Look Ma, I'm a dick!"), I'm okay with it.

Teenagers are supposed to be experimenting with their sexuality. Adults are supposed to be responsible enough to refrain from stalking them.

19. My husband did his first Halloween shopping ever.
My son insisted that they pick out his costume Tuesday night when I was at school. This was not my husband's forte.

Imagine my surprise when I came home to find that my 12 yo son had not, in fact, bought a penguin costume, but instead bought a pimp costume.

I don't even think my husband looked at what it was. My son is small for his age 4'4" 70 lbs. The costume was for a 160lb man.
