1. Ditch the patch
Just quit. You're still feeding ugly crap into your system, and it's not good.

You've already quit, so just quit the patch.

And, might I add --------------> :toast: :yourock:

2. What strength are you on and how much did you smoke a day?
When I quit, I wasn't a very heavy smoker and I ended up cutting the patch in half.

Drink lots of fruit juice...it will help you body detox and it might help that metallic taste.

Best of luck. :)

8. GOOD FOR YOU!
You have just taken a HUGE step towards a longer, healthier life! Don't ever go back....EVER....I hear it's extremely easy to resume this awful, costly habit...

17. I can confirm that it's easy to resume. This is my 4th time quitting
with the patch. Each time I do it I'm smoke-free for over a year.

I don't plan on going back, but then again I didn't plan on it the first time I quit.

Let's add more non-smokers to the club.

I had a craving for one today for minute.

It passed.

15. THE PATCH RULES! I used it to quit about 4 years ago! I took it off
at night though, and that helped a LOT.

Congratulations. Stick with it, and the generic brands are FINE, and work just as well for less the price!

Drink LOTS OF WATER.. you'll be FINE. And you'll stop giving republicans $5 a DAY.

19. I'm starting the patch in the morn. I picked it up a box at the pharm
today. If tried before on the patch but always fall off after a while. Usually after I've actually stopped smoking for a few weeks, I then try to go off the patch cold turkey without following all the directions and gradually weening off. I've tried the gum also, but it upsets my stomach.
