Hot weather is very bad for me. Yesterday we got hay - me precariously balancing on those bales and throwing them off the wagon, C. stacking 154 bales... now I'm running around with my crutch again :( BUT our vacation starts Friday - I hope I get everything done and organized till then.

I remember making a "sit-upon." And I made a barrette holder out of a round Quaker oats box. Braided yellow yarn for hair, glued it to hang over the sides, pasted on a pink construction paper face with blue eyes. I vaguely remember a campfire. That's it.

my goodness - you looked happy, healthy and well cared for ... were you a blonde back then ?

60. Strangely no.

My hair was actually very reddish-brown, but perhaps the red highlights came out as more blonde in the B&W photo. I was a very happy kid up until my horrible teenage years. Man, I was glad to get into my twenties. Life is good now although I hate my government and I wish I didn't live pay check to pay check but I live in a nice area, all of us are healthy and might be getting a promotion soon.
