In the particular case, I would have to concede that looking at the posters screen name ought to have served as fair warning that the poster was the type who would enjoy annoying some one else, and so post spoilers.

I'm sure you made their inner freeper "happy" in whatever twisted way they are capable of such feeling.

But a you can see by this thread there are plenty of posters who really don't have much respect for others, or perhaps think everyone is their age and has seen all the films they've seen.
