Yay, I actually ....
cleaned my windows yesterday. After about a year. :bounce: I am so proud of myself. Are you also? And what are the chores you keep pushing in the future instead of doing them right away?

1. I need to "de-junk" my bedroom and closet
There's just too much clutter and not enough space. Unfortunately I never have enough time to tackle a huge job like that. It would involve going through all of my stuff, determining what I could/should get rid of, organizing the remaining stuff, cleaning in the process, taking the decent things to Goodwill and the other stuff to the dump. I certainly don't have that kind of time with my schedule.

3. I know what you mean
I am already scared of my next moving (which won't be before next year). To go through my clothes to decide what to keep and what to give away.

2. I rehab old homes to sell. So I'm always keeping up two households....
...Sometimes, I neglect my own home, because I'm always working on the next one to sell.

But I've got painting my house on the radar screen...

my gandma's cat wanted her kitty box cleaned every time she used it - otherwise she picked another spot to make her business.

8. but the worst of it is returning everything to its proper place
every room in the house was moved about when we had the heating and air conditioning replaced ... this summer I've hired someone to come in and help me sort out the confusion ... one more time!

12. everything?
that is my problem. I am a collector of even senseless things. For example I can't throw away old calendars. And books ... don't get me started on those :)

13. stop collecting for a while
or limit it to only very special things

:scared: and start sorting soon ... if you're saving the calendars to frame some of the prints - photograph them instead of packing them. I have eight full 7 foot bookcases so I understand that moving problem

that some day I might put them in a frame and hang them up. Yeah, right :eyes:

Good thing I have Mrs R, who's a real dynamo about getting stuff done. And good at nagging me to do so as well.

17. Put up two shelves and nothing is laying around on the
floor anymore. It'll always be dusty and cobwebby though, that can't be avoided. I'm proud, too :)

22. Oh yes - they love the summer because I'm there then
at least half a day and they always have something to watch. They nudge each other: Hey look, there she's carrying a chair - now what's that in her hand? Wonder what's up... I am a living feeding machine, toilet woman and eternal cause for distraction and amusement ;) AND I'm the driver of the blue bus which brings the goodies! Other people wonder about the purpose of their lives - I don't.
