Teenager found glued to lamppost

A teenage boy has been taken to hospital after he was found with his hands glued to a lamppost in a North Tyneside street.

Tyne and Wear firefighters were called to West Percy Street, in North Shields, on Thursday night.

They found the 13-year-old boy stuck to the lamppost and they managed to free his hands.

The boy was taken to North Tyneside Hospital where his injuries are not thought to be serious.

6. We always just used Saran wrap.
Glue is a little too harsh for a prank like that.
