Rocker Neil Young is mourning the death of his father Scott, who died on Sunday at his home in Kingston, Canada. He was 87.

The Canadian singer's dad was a popular author and journalist, who garnered international acclaim with his coverage of World War II, former President John F. Kennedy's assassination and North America's major sporting events.
