I cannot wear my ugly glasses anymore

That I got over 8 years ago as a high school senior. They were big and had a weird multi colored scheme. I accidently knocked them off my face and broke them. Since I couldn't get in for an eye appointment right away, I am trying out contacts again. My last pair ripped almost six months ago. They gave me a short term wear pair. I worry a bit because my eyes had been hurting with contacts when I last had them. My appointment isn't until next Friday. The eye exam, more contacts, and glasses are all going to be expensive since our insurance doesn't cover those things. If I hadn't broke my glasses, I probably wouldn't see the eye doctor again for another year. Don't you just hate it when a turn events forces you to act in your best interests?

Just because. I was putting off doing what I wanted to do and should have done for so long. Maybe, I should "accidently" get fired from work so I have to get a different job too. The glasses were really an accident though. It is amazing though how much clearer I am seeing things. My lens were really scratched up.
