the computer speakers. I tried twisting the remaining wires together but no sound. Is there a trick to splicing speaker wires?

one should be stripped and the other plain or one will have white strip on it and the other will be plain....that indicates polarity...make sure you splice the right two together....

I'll give it another try. I do love my puppy, even when he acts like a goofy little puppy.

When you splice them, wrap each splice with electrical tape (the black stuff) so they don't end up touching each other. That can short them out.

same deal...chewed through one of my speaker wires on my computer. I managed to reconnect and tape it up. Silly puppy, a ton of chew toys and what does she go after???? If she wasn't so damn cute! And the problem is, she knows it! :P

There are several different sprays you can get to put on wires to keep this from happening again. Tastes bitter.
