I would just like to take a minute to say
It is 32 degrees Celsius here today. With the humidex, it is 45 fucking degrees. For you Fahrenheit people, that is 114 degrees with the humidity.

I'm meeeeeeeeeeeeeelting. It's been like this for DAYS. Help!

Winnipeg Friday high of 22C. Salvation is heading in your direction.

Whereas:

http://www.weatheroffice.ec.gc.ca/city/pages/on-143_metric_e.html

High of 35C on Saturday? Good lord, that'll cook all the car emissions into some nice smog that'll make the air less breathable than a WWI battlefield.

But it's a "dry" cold.

Of course it's dry, at those temps any humidity distills out of the atmosphere. My personal coldest was -45 C in Bumfuck Saskatchewan. For the metrically impaired, -49 F.

I live in the Mid-Atlantic, where that is roughly normal for the deep summer---It gets pretty hot and humid here on the Chesapeake Bay. 90-100 degrees and 90-100% humidity often make for suffocating summers

I like chilly weather better, and low humidity. I am sorry you have to deal with this nasty heat.

Here in Rochester, Minnesota (a few hundred miles south of you), we're approaching 100° F air temp, with a heat index (heat + humidity) we're closer to 110° F.

And wouldn't you know it, my air conditioner in my car chose yesterday to die. And I had to make a 130-mile commute back "home" this afternoon.

Thank Jeebus for cold showers!
