Just found out that I am going to see the Moody Blues on Sunday. Third row at the 3000 seat Northrop Auditorium at the U of MN.

1. Absolutely the best concert I ever went to...

...back in the '70's (I think). They had an incredible sound system.

days but I have never seen them before. Looking forward to a great nostalgic time.

3. I saw them last Sunday night!!!!! I'm still high.

My sister went with me and she saw them for the first time (my 5th Moodies concert covering the 70's, 80's, 90's and 00's). She said that for her it was a religious experience.

For me, it was a phenomenal regathering of the tribe -- still keeping the faith. Saw quite a few men with long, gray ponytails.

There wasn't a weak spot in the show. Justin was his usual pensive, angel-voiced, golden god self. And John Lodge loves the audience and the audience loves him back.

One highlight -- and there were so many -- was Graeme Edge coming from behind the drums to voice the poem to "Higher and Higher". It was the first time I've heard the Moodies play Higher and Higher live and it was just ecstatic!!!!

I'm jealous. I want to see them again -- SOON.
