I'm trapped, naked, in my own dining room. That's just great. Now what?
I logged on a 3AM, but it was pitch dark outside, so I did not realize that all the blinds were still up. I really didn't pay it much attention, because my desk is perpendicular to the window. Now the sun is coming up, the light is on in here, and I'm surrounded by huge windows on 2 sides of a first-floor apartment. There are people walking around, walking their dogs and such. If I stand up, this entire neighborhood is going to get to know me in ways they wish they hadn't.

How the hell am I going to get out of this one?

1. Run. Quickly.
And wave as the neighbors look. :D

2. I was thinking of grabbing one of the cats as a loincloth, but that might
be both dangerous and look worse than if I just ran.

Oh, this is not good.

7. That's what I was thinking. Seriously, though, I'm going to have to slink
down to the floor and try to escape ninja-style.

23. I have the same problem when someone knocks at the door
lots of windows ... usually no one's around  but when my old dog isn't doing her job as an early warning system these days .... oops ... *must install electronic motion detector*

6. Stand up, stretch, scratch...take your time getting to the next room.
People who look into other people's windows deserve what they get.

Conversely, while exhibitionism isn't for everybody, this sounds like an oversight. You still have the right to walk around your place naked without feeling weird about it.

It IS a funny situation, though.

8. I was half-awake! I just woke up for no reason, and stumbled out here.
I wasn't even paying attention. Crap!

I think that the slink-out-on-the-floor idea might work.

13. You DO realize that you were even more visible before the sun came up...
Granted, fewer people were walking around, but they had a MUCH better view..
