9. I made fried soft shell crabs once

at home. And it was kind of disturbing to handle them, because they seemed like big slimy spiders that were alive (even though they were dead because they were de-gutted.) I got all icked out trying to bread them.

They were good, but I won't be doing that again.

In the Santee Delta and south to McClellanville South Carolina harvesting the blue crab. Hard work, fun work.

Callinectes Sapidus. 'The beautiful swimmer that is tasty'.

There is a book; 'Beautiful Swimmer' by William W. Warner. A read as good as the crab meat.

it is the perfect food!!!
