Ay, mi dios mio! 97 degrees!! People who have no business appearing in public without multiple parkas are out and about, displaying vast quantities of pink, splotchy skin.

I like it. Beats a Chicago February by an acre.

5. I lived in New Orleans for five years and in Nashville for six....
I guess I got acclimated to the hot weather there, since after I moved to Chicago, I bitched and moaned about how long winter lasted.

I suppose it just feels more natural to me now when it gets hot.

4. I'm not real big on Summer, or the Sun in general.
I prefer the Winter. Truthfully, I'd be very happy living in Scandinavia.

6. 10-4 on that one
gimme a good two weeks of summer (with air temps around 79) and a good cold rest of the year.

7. I appreciate autumn the most.
I think I'd be happiest in Connecticut, if it looked like it did in October all year long.

But I'm a huge fan of summer time....the constant low-level sweating, even in air-conditioned climes, is a great way of losing water weight when I'm having my period.

11. Autumn And Spring Are Bad For My MS
I'm ok with the extreme seasons, because i generally feel stronger and less pain in those months. Fall and spring stink for me. And, i'll take the hot. Can't play golf or ride with my top down in February.

12. Sorry to hear that, bro.

I say this: If all Chicago summers could be this nice, I can forgive God for smiting us with eight months of Arctic Bitchslap.

25. God how I hated the weather in Houston.
I remember how our young sons spent entire summers indoors. And not being able to dress the way I had become accustomed to either. Good to be home.

BTW - NASA HQ is in DC. I was at JSC.

31. I did not know that.
Although DC is a hellhole in the summer too. I haven't seen a single day over 72 degrees here all summer, and only two over 70. That will all change soon.

8. It's just right in Florida
The temp in the Tampa Bay area has never hit 100 degrees. Typical summer day is 91-93 degrees. Who sez it's too hot in Florida in the summer?

We had hotter summers in Cleveland.

14. Yeah, we get the extremes here.
But I enjoy having a full spectrum of seasons.

My mom lives in Florida; IMO, there's nothing more depressing than going to the beach on Christmas day....I dunno, there's just something weird about it.

Yeah, nothing I like better than sweating over a production oven in the tiniest kitchen in Chicago on a day like today.

18. I think I prefer Chicago-area winters to the summers.
Yes, it's ball-shrinkingly cold, but hey, it's easier to warm up than it is to cool down.

24. Don't melt in the humidity!
That's the worst part of Chicago heat. Although it's hotter here in Phoenix, it doesn't feel as bad as 95° in Chicago. I feel for ya, RCZ.

Chicago: Damn I love it even with the melting summers and booger-freezing winters.

30. I'll be enjoying (I guess) that heat soon.
My son has a baseball game later on. We have never played on this field before (he is on a travel team) and I am keeping my fingers crossed that there are some big shady trees nearby.
