Okay, I was too lazy to figure it out when it was "new" what does Buddy

feature do and are their any advantages? Does it let you know when someone has posted - or just let you find their addy without searching threads so you can send a message?

1. It makes a list of buddies so you can go to that

rather than search for them...it also reminds you in the middle of a flame war that you actually HAVE buddies on DU :D

didn't there used to be a little buddy icon to click on to make someone a buddy? I don't see it any more... so how does one get that convenient (somebody likes me!?!) little feature turned on?

one is to add a buddy, the other to add to your ignore list with the ONE PERSON I presume is still on there :evilgrin: Be veewy veewy caweful! :D

so I try to click the icon to put you on my buddy list and it gives me an error - says you are already on my buddy list... didn't remember/realize that I have one! So how do I find my buddy list?

which always makes me think I am about to do something drastic to my preferences - and thus I avoid it... hence why I will have a tag line or avatar for a year at a time.

How inconvenient and unbuddylike is that (having to go to options)... in that time I can just hit search ... or go to my inbox and look for an old pm.

There was a great mexican restuarant that got taken over by Don Pablos on Washtenaw - used to have great margaritas.

there used to be this great greasy diner on washtenaw going towards Ypsi... maybe a couple of lights past Golfside. Did the best omelets... one with hashbrowns, onions, peppers chese and ham (the taters were IN the omelet). Can't remember the name - maybe a man's name within the man. Hope that is still there.
