1. Sounds kind of bookish
Would it be a progressive rock band?

5. I actually really like that name.
I love historical names for bands. And I actually am in a progressive rock band...

But yeah, we are called "The Black Hand" because not only did it sound humorously heavy metal, but it had the great historical connection for those who noticed it. And this was before that naff "Franz Ferdinand" arrived on the scene.

14. I don't think many people will get it
early 20th century serbian nationalist groups are not exactly a hot topic of conversation. But "The Black Hand" was also the enforcer branch of the Sicilian Mafia, and was imported to the US in the 1890s when Italian immigrants came into the US by the hundreds of thousands. I think the Black Hand was also a name for a grouip of Russian assassins, but I am not sure.

8. There's already a Mr T Experience
Mr T vs Abe Lincoln??

It'd be close but I'm taking Clubber Lang over Honest Abe.

11. My favorite had to be "The Sid Presley Experience"
Fuck if I remember any of their music, but I thought the combining three "legendary" names into one was a cool move.
