WHY does anyone think that Shaun of the Dead is funny?
It is funny and heart touching and sad at parts but generally just a regular zombie film.

1. I've only seen it twice. I'll watch it again and get back to you.

But I did find it hilarious. I think it was the actors and the dialogue.

2. I agree with you I found it rather hilarious myself
It could have been the Brit humor aspect of it that he didn't like. That sometimes falls flat with people.

3. Yeah
I'm a big fan of Brit humour. Spaced (same guys as Shaun of the Dead) was a brilliant show.

9. I'm a big Monty Python fan as well
And GirlinContempt recently convinced me to download Black Books, so I'm gonna spend tomorrow watching that most likely, haha.

4. The two stars in Shaun have a cameo in Land of the Dead.
They're the two zombies that the "citizens" get their photos taken with.

8. You have to enjoy the dry humour of Brits
to get that movie, which I find hilarious and have watched three times in the last month.

If you watch it with the inane trivia comments, it makes it more fun...

13. We saw it tonight! Jeebus, was I rolling.
One of the best movies that I have ever seen, and I have seen about 2 or more movies per week (rental or theater) since I was 16.
