My cellphone how just got wet . I just took the battery out of it immediately and I have it sitting under my desklap . Anybody else know what to do ? I might as well go buy a new phone but this sucks .

but then it died a few months later when my aunt dropped it in a toilet. It you take it apart as much as you can and don't use it until it's totally dry it may survive.

air dry. You can use a hairdryer (lo or no heat) to accelerate the process. The odds of survival are higher than you might think. I just hope this isn't an Erikson.

and my daughter left her`s outside in the snowy mud for two days.. both worked fine after drying out. it does take awhile for the screen to come back on

and ever since then the display is faded. I don't know how to get it back to normal. But it still works, just hard to see the display.
