The reason I'm rarely here anymore:

He's 9 1/2 months old and starting to walk!

:loveya:

I still lurk from time to time and sometimes post very bad jokes.

Miss you all.

17. Thanks.
This is the first year since I was about 14 that I've had a tan because I take him to the park so often. We have great parks in our neighborhood. Hope we don't get proced out of here too soon.

27. Enjoy this precious little boy -- soon he will look much different --
and this little person will exist only in photographs -- and your memory!

I want to get him an agent, but I'm too busy. I think my husband should do it, but he doesn't know where to start.

9. He's an expert cruiser...and
...can take 2 or 3 steps before falling down. He doesn't like to walk with anyone holding his hands. He likes to do things on his own.

He did fall on the cat the first time he took a couple steps on his own. We weren't expecting him to walk. He was holding onto a ceder chest then he just took off toward the cat. Step, step, thud! He got scratched and it was scary, but it wasn't that bad--healed up right away.

He loves people. He's so well behaved in public because people just fascinate him so much he forgets if he's tired or uncomfortable.

Thanks.

:P

(FULL DISCLOSURE: I've known Paul since he was just a college professor in MN. In fact, I got involved in Democratic politics because of him, in 1988, when I was a college student).
