Help? How do we post pics from our camera?

We are at a loss. Mr. A promises to post ASAP if someone can respond and help us figure this out! Thank you in advance.

1. Go to tinypic.com

And down load your Pictures there so when you refer to them in HTML tinypic.com will load up your pictures.

2. You need to have them uploaded to a web server to post them here

You can get a free service at www.photobucket.com . You upload the pictures there then paste the IMG tag line there in the message postion of a post here. Your picture will magically appear then.

If they are not on the web somewhere, they will not show here at all.

tinypic is part of Photobucket, but you do not need to subscribe to Tinypic.com to use tinypic.com. The problem tinypic.com just leaves you makes reference to the picture, not show the picture. Photobucket permits you to show the picture in your downloads.

4. I've never tried tinypic

but I might sometime. Thanks for the info. I usually just use photobucket beause I like having the picture show in the post rather than adding the extra click to see the pic. Good to know there are choices out there though. :hi:

5. Actually I was pointed to tinypic.com first

And then found photobucket. I first used tinypic.com and than converted to Photobucket. I may even opt for the "Premium Package" one of these days if the number of my pictures gets close to the limit for free usage. I think I can spare the $9 for three months, or $25 per year for the Premium service if I start posting with to many pictures.

Horns were honking while we put this up at 4PM rush hour.
This is what is looked like at 5PM. It was way too hot in Dallas today.
Kudos to DUers for their 24 hour helpdesk.
