I am one of those people who hates baseball but loves one team. I don't know why, I just love the Red Sox. I will even watch their games, despite my dislike of the game. I might have to go with Joe Dimaggio though, because he was referenced in a Seinfeld episode... The first one I saw, I think.

No, not stupid gambling manager Pete, but Charlie Hustle, ballplayer with most hits Pete Rose. Growing up, he was baseball to me.

Plus, he tried to pick my mother up in a bowling alley back in the 60's. Got an autographed picture out of the meeting and no he did not succeed. :-)

Bleacher seats at a major league game can be had for $7-$10
