It's the stuff you're supposed to use to numb tooth/gum pain.. I just found another use for it tonight. I applied it to a minor burn on the tip of my thumb (from a cookie sheet) and the pain was gone in 5 seconds. It also works wonders for paper cuts, hangnails and any other skin abrasion or cut. I assume it's non-toxic since it's made for use in the mouth. Add it to your home remedy list!
