This is seriously fucked up! I can be pretty "understanding" of what the wingnuts say about us because we dole out the same amount of insults about them ourselves... but this is unacceptable! I take it as a direct threat.

of something Ann Coulter said, to the effect that liberals should be shot to remind them that they're vulnerable.

Aside from the fact that I think liberals demonstrate more awareness of the rest of the world than Coulter's team, and better manners in order to not be seen as someone worth assaulting, I think that statement constitutes a prima facie threat, and one I think we need to defend ourselves against.

Not that this is new news. Was it Jesse Helms that told Clinton that he wouldn't be safe if he visited any military bases in his home state?
