My sleep schedule is all screwed up
It has been since i lost my job, and it's getting worse every day. Yesterday, I wasn't feeling well, and had to lay down around 3 PM due to an Immodium induced coma, so I woke up after 7 PM. I went to bed at 4 AM, got up at noon. Anybody got any coffee?

1. We've had major thunderstorms here and I've had one of our dogs
with me on the couch while my husband has had one in bed with him (it's just too hot right now with two dogs, hubby and me in bed).

I just want to go back to be with my husband and have the dogs at the foot of the bed. But, the more scared they are the closer they sleep to us.

My son has been sleeping on his floor with a fan blowing in his face to drown out the noise. I may have to try that.

I just want to go to be at 10:00 P.M. and sleep 'til 6:00 A.M. is that too much to ask :boring:

2. Try to find something to normalize it ...
in the early '90s, I was out of a job for 18 months. To keep a schedule, and being an early riser, I would get up to watch "Mr. Ed" and "Dobie Gillis" on Nick at Nite. It made be keep a regular sleep pattern.

While I don't think you'd want to get up that early, get a morning routine, exercise, TV show, etc. somehting that will keep you on a regular schedule. It'll also help when you get a new job and you're back to the grind.

Good luck!

6. Well, i've always been a night critter
When I'm working, I have to force myself to bed. I know I can flip it back around without too much trouble. I woke up today with my cat sleeping on my ass. Strange, strange cat!

4. ROTFLMAO
I saw that warning yesterday. I am awake during the daylight hours though. My husband on the other hand, generally isn't.

8. Did you get any rain, Sweety? We did down here...
It just seemed to make it steamy.

10. Rain? Don't think so.
I just looked outside...My driveway holds water in lake formation, and it's dry. I'm going to say that makes it a definite no.

Upon opening the door, I found a notice that if the LOC doesn't mow the grass within three days we can be evicted for a rules violation. :wtf: They must have changed things. before, it was "You have 24 hours to mow, or we'll mow it and you'll pay a fine." He likes to wait until they put the note on the door to mow. They hate us, and he encourages it.

14. LOC? Lump On the Couch? My yard goes native, too, but...
I've got most of it mowed right now.

15. You are correct!
It's not like it's a lot to mow. A strip in between two trailers. He is such a lazy ass!!

16. Yep, my front yard is small, but the back yard is humongous!
We've had packs of dogs, herds of miniature horses, mules, a Long Horn bull, and flocks of exotic birds back there. :)

5. Me too.
I have not been to sleep yet and it is 1pm! The maintenance guys are hanging my dining room drapes so I need to stay awake until they leave. I feel horrible that all I seem to do during the day is sleep and at night, watch X-Files and Ally McBeal DVD's. I had an interview on monday and they said that they would call me to hopefully set up a second one. Keep your fingers crossed. I need my 9-5 hours again:(.

9. Thanks!
I (am hopefully going to continue) work in administrative capicity for non-profits. I have actually been shocked that I have recieved more responses from Craigs List than from my head hunter.

Good Luck to you too!!

13. It does indeed....
Take a look on Craigs List. I thought it was just for arranging sex dates, lol. It was quite a shock to see that it actually had non-recreational purposes:P.
