I recently started a relationship with someone who completely opened my eyes to how good a man could be. I'm very happy, but I could kick myself sometimes for putting up with so much crap from other men that have been in my life before. I deserved better. I guess we live and learn, huh? :shrug:

9. Dear Tired.......

I think we are all more weary and overwhelmed than we have ever been in this world, and people, unfortunately, will sometimes take their fears and frustrations out on others, sometimes even on the people closet to them. :(

It's a sad fact, but sometimes we just have to worry about saving our energies and focusing on what we CAN change, so we don't feel so helpless and frustrated at times. :) We can also learn to just tune out most of the bad vibes flying our way. :)

I find deep breathing beneficial.

8. Why is it that every guy I meet...

that I'm interested in and who is interested in me back ends up living on the other side of the continent?

On a semi-related note, I'm also quite curious why almost all the guys I meet who are interested (not all but definitely most) are almost exactly the same height and weight as me (5'8" or 5'9"ish and around 145 pounds)? There aren't a lot of guys that size and it just seems like a strange coincidence.

But let's worry less about location, just what is it about these guys that attracts you? Do they seem more interesting and unique because they are from a different place or choose to live elsewhere? What do you want out of a relationship?


As for attracting guys with the same height and build, I'm guessing it's because you are very comfortable with who you are. :) (Okay, okay, Dr. KittenHearts doesn't have all the answers, but I try!!) ;)

Just think about all the qualities you want in a partner, and then seek him out, he's bound to be in your own backyard. (well, not literally) Location doesn't mean much when you find that connection with another. :)
