Pets are love in the tangible furry form
I mean we talk about this entity called love, but this morning I realized that love in solid form are our pets. I've never been much of a pet owner but it's amazing at the unconditional love you get from them even if you forgot to give them their wet food treat for the day or almost ran over their tail with your office chair.

If love was something that we could hold and touch it would look like our pets

2. Well my little Althea may be love, but Quinn is more like
tolerance for me and reliance on my opposable digits.

5. I'd have to say the same about Evita
If I didn't have a thumb she'd be figuring out how to escape. If I don't give her some wet treats in the morning she'll nag me to death until I do

7. Fargo just gazes at me...

as if I'm a goddess--- the most wonderful mommy in the world.

When I got back from my 2 week long trip to the Midwest he was completely, unabashedly excited that I was home. He could not stop loving and sniffing and snuggling.

Pyrs are very dignified dogs; not lickers at all. He had never kissed me before, ever. But BOY when I leaned down to give him a hug just back from the airport, I got a big ole wet kiss. He REALLY missed me! :loveya:

Everyone should have a Fargo who loves them.

8. My vet has this cool question on her kitty profile form
Do you think that your cat is:

a) a member of the family
b) royalty
c) just a pet

I checked off a) and b) for two of my kitties she has seen so far. She's a cat-only vet, and until I met her I thought *I* was gaga over cats :D. She saved Imhotep's life and has a total crush on him. :loveya:

11. I grew up wit a Boxer and a Saint Bernard, I forgot
what having a dog in your life makes it so much more. Our dogs passed away just before I went to college, and had no dog until 2 years ago. The neighbors were giving away Bull Mastiff-Rotwieller mixes, and this little 9 week old one crawls over.

That point I thought of all the things that would be bad about having one. Then I thought of all the good, and took him. I will never regret it. He has a cushy life, and I take him everywhere. Some of the clients object, but I don't care. The look on his face at times can make me almost cry; he is so full of love and happiness.
