Forget Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie has a new special someone in her life: a daughter.

If all goes according to plan, the Oscar winner and all-around do-gooder will by week's end finalize the adoption of an Ethiopian orphan whose parents were killed by AIDS.

Aniston is supposedly going to tell her side to Vanity Fair b/c she has been so hurt at Pitt for all this Jolie stuff. They "supposedly" made an agreement not to date for 6 months! Who knows?

On edit, I don't put it past Jolie to do it though. She married Bill Bob while he was already engaged to another woman (Laura Dern)

as somebody currently going thru a divorce, I can somewhat relate (although our breakup doesn't involve sexual infidelity, AFAIK).

It takes two people to get married, and it also takes two people to screw it up, too. Brad may have had some goofy relationship with Angelina, but he must have done it for a reason-- something may not have been right at home if he had to seek solace elsewhere.

Either that or he's a two-timing, no-good, durn galoot who fscked up a good thing.

For what its worth, I believe her. She's always been the type to speak her mind- no matter how badly it may have affected her later.

Billy Bob didn't have anything to do with the child they adopted together. That was a couple of years ago. This Brad thing just happened this year.

36. Billy Bob did in fact have something to do with Maddox

Angelina got involved with the Red Cross & went to do charity work. Met Maddox in an orphanage and felt a connection. Contacted BB and asked if he would be interested in adoption- he said yes. She went ahead with the papers. Original documents show BB's signature & list him as the father.
Papers later finalized listed Jolie as a single parent- because BB ran off on tour with his band and started banging groupies. I think it was great that she didn't put up with it and bailed instead.

Course it must have been a kick in the teeth when about a year later BB got another woman pregnant.
