I have been so down this week, like sludge, but something (the little voice????...woowooo) told me I would be working there by Friday and not to worry about anything. It's a grunt job ( but a very cool one) at a very awesome private university, so I am so psyched.

Late this afternoon, I was just thinking that little voice was wrong and I should have hustled more this week, when the phone rings:

"We'd be happy to have you, but can't pay what you're asking." We negotiated and it's close to my figure and better still, two weeks pay will cover all my monthly expenses, which means I can improve my "lot" in life a bit.
