language utterly fascinating, hubby is putting together the logistics for a trip to the orient before too long here...guess i better brush up on putting the sounds together in one or two strings that make a little sense

We went to China last September... probably going back again next year. Maybe sooner if my wife & I can get long enough off from work together.

11. I was going to say...

My wife & I and our then 18 month old daughter went from CT to China last year for 2 weeks. For round trip plane tickets from LA and back, plus 7 nights in a hotel and a tour of Beijing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou & a few other areas, with meals included for those 7 days, it was like $2,800.

We had to get to LA on our own, and we stayed the last week in Nanjing at our own expense...
