Jaywalkers, your time is coming too.
Right now you guys can get off scot free when you shuffle across the road while looking arrogantly at drivers waiting for you to stop your illegal actions because you know no judge will fine you and instead crucify the driver regardless.

But with more cameras being erected, you bet they'll start fining you too.

And I hope they do.

Because one day some idiot driver (not I) will run you over, not seeing you in the dark because you're too damn lazy to wear reflective or bright clothing WHILE jaywalking to your heart's content. In which case the driver should be let go and you pay your own medical bills, you damn fool. You lot don't own the roads. And your lives ARE at risk because not all drivers out there give a damn either. Remember, it's dog eat dog and some dogs put their brains in their lunchbox the moment they sit in their cars.

So be careful! Drivers won't. That's why there are more laws out ther to nab them. And you'll be next.

3. My boyfriend killed a jay-walker
when I was about 17 years old "Nick" left to go to work and returned to the house a few minutes later yelling "I think I killed him call an ambulance". So I did as I got dressed. We went rite back to the site a few blocks away and there was this thin old man laying on the frozen ground with his pants knocked down to his knees. He was dead.

No charges were brought because it was an accident. Nick was never the same after that.

After that day I take pedestrians and being a pedestrian alot more seriously.
