Pauly Shore ready for a comeback...
Swell, just swell...just when I thought we'd gotten rid of him...

http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/TV/07/08/pauly.shore.ap/index.html

Once the curly-haired wild child of MTV with the show "Totally Pauly," Shore galloped into movies and later his own sitcom. His stoner slang catch phrases like "hey buuuddy" and "chillin' with The Weasel" were the "that's hot" and "fo' shizzle" of their day.

The Los Angeles-based Shore -- who was in town to appear on Howard Stern's radio show and hang in the Hamptons with friends -- freely accepts he's no longer riding high.

He unashamedly tells The Associated Press he hasn't had an audition in months, adding, "It's OK. I'm doing my own thing."

1. I hears rumors that
most of the professional comedians didn't like him because he didn't pay his dues.. since his mother owned the comedy store.

2. They probably don't like him because he's NOT FUNNY...
There are more laughs in Schindler's List than all of Pauly's movies put together...

5. I thought In the Army Now was pretty good...
but it might be because I was in the Air National Guard.

12. I met him once
Very bizarre person. Definately a stoner type in real life. Asked us (a group of pre-teens at the time), "what are you looking at??", because we were trying to figure out where we knew him from..

We were at the lake so we had jet skiis and an intertube raft thing with us, which he just sat on like he owned it. Plus, he was wearing short shorts that were going up his butt and a hat that said "Strip Club".. Classy..
