You're making it harder than it really is. (I often do that myself.)

NOTE: I added a space between h and ttp:// so the system would NOT translate the URL & pic.

10. If you want text, just type the text.

You can mix text, URLs and pictures in your sigline. (That's exactly what my sigline contains.)

EXAMPLE:

I want my sigline to read "Rove is a traitor."

To get that, I just type:
Rove is a traitor.

It's just that simple. Hope that helps.
