Red and blue beer companies?
Which beer companies are usually "blue" (give most to to Dems) and usually "red" (Gives most to the Repubs)?

I figure Coors is red, and probably Bud and Miller. Are there any blue ons?

1. Think smaller, think local--in fact, just think 'good beer'

4. Foster's. It's Canadian for faux Aussie beer, mate!
but it scored the highest at http://www.buyblue.org : 53% blue.

That's right, 53% was the highest of any major brewery. Is there something inherently repuke about beer? Please, nooooooooooo!

7. Doesn't that date back a few decades to the original owners?
I know the folks who owned it into the 80's (?) were thought pretty highly of.

8. I remember Coors being anti-labor
union hating scum...and I haven't bought coors, ever, because of it. Maybe the labor issues have passed (this was several years back), but I'll never buy Coors because of it.

10. They still do not have "union made"
on their cans, yet Miller proudly does.

That should say alot.

14. I always assumed that Miller would be the bluest of the
big 3 companies.

11. Coors is evil!
Anti-union, anti-gay, anti-choice. There used to be a boycott and as far as I am concerned it's still on. (Kinda easy for me since Coors tastes like piss, but it's the principle that counts.)

Didn't Mary Cheney work for them trying to get Coors back into gay bars? Traitor scum.

Khash.

15. I do the best I can.
We can't insulate every dollar from going to rethugs. But if I know that I can buy the same thing from Bed, Bath and Beyound and Target, but BBB is blue and Target is red, I'm going to BBB.

I read through buyblue, and keep the list in our car. But, I'm in a very progressive area, so buying from lefties is very, very easy!
