Ducks love deer corn!

I heard feeding ducks or any birds bread is not good. So I went to my local hunting/fishing store and got deer corn. The ducks went wild over it. Just because they like it doesn't mean its good for them though, does anyone know what is the best feed for ducks? I wonder if purina makes duck feed...they seem to make every other feed for every other type of animal so I'm sure they do.
You should see these ducks when I come over the embankment they come running...never seen a duck run before and believe me its a truly humorous sight. They definately love the corn...some will even take it right out of my hand.

They prefer the corn ones. Since chickens eat cracked corn, I assume it is good for ducks too. They also like fresh greens and little bugs.

2. i dont think that wold be such a good idea.. it is pretty large an course.

4. Tough to find but Purina does make duck feed for breeders

so does Mazuri Diets -- and they're easier to find.

5. They'll get more nutrients from cracked corn or a pelleted feed...

A pelleted chicken grower would have the protien levels they need.
