I don't agree with most of Jeb's politics, but the man can think on his feet, speak in paragraphs, not just sound bites, and he seems to be capable.

Fucking Karl had to latch onto Dubya and tell him to run. I don't think Jeb would have fucked things up anywhere near his brother. Shrub has just had this uncanny knack of turning everything he touches to shit.

Like the Terri Schiavo debacle, and the 2000 election screw up. I just think if it was him rather than his brother that ended up running that we would not be as totally fucked up as we are. there is a large segment of the population who are very anti-intellectual. Being dumb is an asset for him, because the dumber voters in our country identify with that, others think he may not be all that smart but he's got cowboy common sense and he's a God-Fearing man. Don't forget that Jebbie was a signatory to the PNAC founding principles statement in 2000. He would have done the same things that his brother has done, and probably could have gotten even more of the far right's wish list accomplished.

Maybe Jeb just isn't as embarrasing to watch speak. When I see Dubya unable to answer questions that aren't prepared, then saying he was caught off guard by a question and he can't think in front of all those people, I just want to hide my head. This is our fucking president, and he can't complete a thought in one breath.
