Is Spam a non-perishable?
I got some here...that and the wonderful imitation by Armour, "Treet" or whatever.

Does it get too old to eat? There's no date on it.

1. No, there are still cans that date back to
the Paleothicus epoch...

2. Ooh!
I don't remember if I like Spam. Maybe I'll open it up and take a crack at it.

5. A can I got for Y2K had a 2003 sell-by date.
I never got around to using it.

7. Where was it?
Oh lordy, if these cans are from before 2000!

I'll take another look, but I could have sworn there was no date on the top or bottom...there are numbers, but not of a date sort....

6. Lived on it in college. Yellow rat-cheese melted on the top of a
slice: MMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Good stuff. Popcorn was a supplement. Haven't had any since then, thank God! But it did the trick. Roomie and I could keep it in the can (before opening) and the cheese kept for quite a few days also. A Puerto Rican dorm mate told us that they didn't have refrigeration back home in those days and their rule was to never stick a fork or knife into anything that had been in other (old) food or in someone'e mouth and you even could keep mayonnaise out. You learn a lot in college.

My sis and I discovered that back when we started using cream cheese as a dip for potato chips...ewwwww...
