2. Bono does a great deal of work for Africa--if you caught their white brace

lets, that's for the ONE campaign, which I believe is to raise awareness about global poverty and AIDS.

They're some of the good guys.

3. I still don't understand why people bash U2

...with so many horrendously evil bastards working to bring about the end of the world, I don't get why some people waste their energy bashing four MUSICIANS who actively use their high profile to draw attention to solving problems. The music's bombastic at times, but so is Beethoven. Bono may come across to some as arrogant and self-important, but so does fuckin' Donald Trump -- it's the entire basis of Trump's appeal.

I wasn't a huge fan in their early days, but liked them well enough. Their music's really grown on me over the years though, and some of it I really love.

So, next time someone on here feels like bashing U2, just take a minute and think of all the evil fuckers who REALLY deserve your scorn and maybe direct it towards them instead.

As I said, I like them, but I don't have all their albums and such. I think they are legends and have done more than most when it comes to helping their fellow man.
