Sunday Morning Blues! I Saw Buddy Guy Last Night! Pics And Video HERE!!!
Edited on Sun Jul-10-05 09:55 AM by DistressedAmerican
Went with my wife, baby and sis to a FREE, open air Buddy Guy show last night in Albany. I have wanted to see him for more years than I can say and it was far better than expected. Walked on in and right up front. He was on fire!!!

He came down and played in the crowd. Stopped right in front of me and my baby (Right in front. Face to face!) and busted some sweet guitar solo action for us, TWICE!!

Here are some shots and links to some short video clips I shot!!!

Me looking surprised (for some reason) and the family.

VIDEO (Be patient. It seems to load pretty slowly from my server. Keep surfing. The first two are under 20 seconds. The others still under 60 but, better than the short ones, IMO):

Loving life, Face to face with a soloing Buddy Guy and for FREE No less. Can't beat that.

Good Morning Blues!

2. Love the Blues
I met & got John Lee Hooker's autograph one time, back stage in his dressing room. Autographed copy of Hooker N' Heat.

5. He's nothing short of amazing!
When I lived in Chicago we would go to his club when he played there. Simply incredible and a treasure. Thanks for sharing.

6. You can say that again. Used to live there for years.
Somehow I never saw him. More of a punk rock show patron at that point on my life.

The show was killer. I'm SO glad he came around!

10. Saw him 3 weeks ago at Wolf Trap!!!
Which is also an outdoor arena. He ventured to all four corners of it; great performance. Especially like his rendition of "Feels like Rain." Like sex on the half note.
