1. I lose my glasses...all the time.
I take them off when I get home, because the get squooshed cuddling with progspawn. And I guess I am not consistent about where I put them down. I lost them for 2 days once.

2. I can't find my purple glasses right now.
I'm wearing my brown glasses, but I wanted to wear my light purple glasses today, because I'm wearing a light-colored outfit. I know I had the glasses in their case when I came back to my parents' from my in-laws', but I can't find them!

That's what I get for bringing more than one pair of glasses on vacation. I still have two more pairs of glasses at home. And wouldn't you know, the missing pair was the most expensive?

3. I often forget to check my spelling, as well.
And because I tend to rush while I type (testing the limits of how fast I can type?) I make a lot of typos.

I misplace my keys alot. And sometimes I forget to eat if I'm really involved with something.

7. Sheesh--I do that constantly!
I hate it.

I try to walk back to remember, and sometimes do it again, if it works at all.

8. Misplacing My Keys, Wallet, & Sunglasses. Also, Walking Into A Room...
... to do "something", but after arriving there, I frequently forget WHY it was I was headed there in the FIRST PLACE.

So... I have to back-track ALL the way to my original starting point and look around the room to see if anything there might cause the same neuron in my brain to fire-up and remind me what it was that I wanted to do.

12. Isn't That The Most MADDENING Thing??
Edited on Sun Jul-10-05 10:44 AM by arwalden
At least whenever I misplace my keys or sunglasses...I've got the element of TIME working against me. After all... when I lose my keys, it's something that I put down HOURS ago or the PREVIOUS DAY!

But it's damned frustrating to know that I've forgotten something in the short 10 seconds it takes to walk from the living room to the bedroom.

Arghhh!

:hi:

15. And also... while on my mission which is so quickly forgotten...
I see so many other things that need doing that I end up doing five things and forgetting about four of them, making it all the harder to remember the original thing that sent me on the mission.

:hi:

18. Yes, yes, YES!!! Exactly!!!
I cannot multitask very well. I am constantly starting new projects before the original one is completed.

11. Well that would be me.
I'm totally absent-minded. I'll walk upstairs in my house and forget why by the time I get there. Then I get on the computer since it's there. No wonder I get nothing done.
