4. Just remember one thing...
... they look like a Mini, but they're made with BMW parts, which, when it comes to repairs, means you'll be paying premium prices for them. And if gas mileage is a primary concern, there are cars with better ratings. The EPA estimates 28 mpg/36 mpg, so, for the real world, that's about 22-23 city/30-32 highway.

And, with the cars still in demand and waiting lists in some locales, you'll be paying at minimum, MRSP or higher. Not much haggling possible these days, except perhaps on the value of the trade-in.

If you're thinking about one, give it a few months or so. That way you'll be able to gauge any rise in gas prices and demand may drop off a bit in the meantime.

One other thing... if you're much over six feet tall, you're likely not to find the car as comfortable as you might imagine. The new Mini is a bit taller than the old one, but it's not what one would call a big car.

Cheers.

Edited on Sun Jul-10-05 02:13 PM by AutumnMist
in downtown Columbus. Its amazing. A full sized fiberglass mini coop on the side of a building. I tried to find a picture of it but couldn't. The state now is trying to take it down. I don't have any other information on mini coppers however. LOL. Sorry! :) Can someone find the pic for me?

Edit:Found The Pic!
