What's the real difference between having a crush on someone and loving is
If it were me, I would say, when you have a crush on someone, you fall for a fantasy. An Idealized version of that person. When you love someone, you know them for who they are. What is good and what may not be so good. And you still love them anyway. My thoughts. What are yours?

3. I've always referred to crushes when my affections were unrequited
I've had friends I've had crushes on - and I've also loved them as friends, and while those feelings of friendship were returned, the desire to be more than friends was not.
