2. Yes, or close.
And I'm not saying in case the mere mention sets it off again. :scared:

3. Probably....
But then, it probably got deleted.

Personally, I find placenta-eating a little bit gross, but many other things MUCH more offensive...

8. Some women have had some of it put into a milkshake.
Not for me, but what's the big deal? Animals eat their placentas. There's TONS of nutrition in those bad boys.

But they are ginormous. I asked to see my daughter's. I was shocked at the size and sort of grossed out, so they took it out of my sight quickly.

But eh.

13. It would really nourish the soil around it, I think.
You could plant something there and it would do very well.

:D

14. Yeah, that's the theory.
That's what I get for marrying a goth vegan: she'd rather feed the plants.

9. Ohhhhm I got great placenta stories.
Picked them up from lurking on a british newsgroup.

Let's see, I won't give the stories justice, so I'll go to the visuals. One happened during a busy calf whelping season and ended with a wheel barrel full of calf placentas. Apparently they jiggle when the barrel hits the bumps and the New Zealand chappie thought it was funny enough to post.

The other story involved a placenta in a more suburban area. Apparently the person buried the placenta of his large pet in his backyard, and his neighbor's dog dug it up, so the neighbor puts it on the end of the shovel and takes it to the guy's house to show him what the dog dug up and the guy opens the door, looks at the shovel and says, "Oh, that's my placenta!"

Well, maybe you had to be there.
