with the numbers being the finger. 0 being open -1 meaning first fret...

Just don't be too random, or it won't quite work.

But since it's Amaj, with a major seventh, and if you want to stay in keys, you can look at it as the tonic in A major, from which you can go nicely to the fourth or the fifth, D major or E major.

Or take it to the third, a progression I kinda like, which is F#minor.

X A F# A C# F#
X 0 3 2 2 2 (or if you want, you can do 2 0 3 2 2 2, or 2 4 3 2 2 2)

But, you know, play around, have fun with it, try some suspensions, and enjoy the living fuck out of the music.

13. You know, I naturally went to the EMaj with a sus

back nd forth, picking in a counry style

Then went ot the F#

I think then maybe I am getting the hand of this noodling...

I have been playing for years but since I discovered Tabs, I have really gotten a lot more atuned (pun in tended) with what I am playing.....
