You know, that wonderful site where we DUers get so much love? Not the land of freeps, but the home of the depraved. It seems that I've been the topic of their conversations, and I didn't even know it.

So, to those of you who feel the need to talk about me rather than to me:

Yes, I've lost my job and am on unemployment and food stamps. I was working for rethuglicans who didn't give a damn that I was hospitalized.

No, I wasn't in rehab. I was in IMCU for asthma problems.

Yes, I live in a trailer. Yes, I live in a red state. So what?

My kids are not generally ill behaved. My son has Asperger's, which most of you don't know anything about. It's high functioning autism and has nothing to do with pot. He's also ADHD, which is comorbid with the Asperger's. Oh, wait, let me dumb that down for you. It means that the two things (ADHD and Asperger's) very often occur together and are, in fact related. You see ADHD falls on the autistic spectrum.

Yes, I have problems with my husband, and yes, I vent about them here. I suppose you are all in wonderful, loving relationships. I'm happy for you.

6. I'm just ranting about them

They have nothing better to do than to come here, read posts and then make fun of us. They speculated that DU would have a fundraiser for me because I lost my job, and also suggested ways that I could cut my expenses and improve my life.

15. They aren't making fun of you - just using you

to make fun of Andy - a dedicated activist who has *passed away* and yet they still can't find the compassion to quit making jokes about DU scam. Sore-loser mentality - most were banned here for being offensive or unable to follow simple rules of discourse and so they've set up a whole site to punish the people they see as shunning them.

As for finding ways to cut your expenses - you should post in the Economic Activism group. Some people think living one's values has to be more expensive, like shopping at expensive whole foods groceries, etc, but part of it is saving on the shit you don't need and learning to make or trade for some of the stuff you do need. On yet another site I saw an entry about me a few months back. Someone had stated that if I had stayed in an abusive relationship I wouldn't have to work two jobs and neglect my kid. They also stated that women like me should have their children taken away since I can't stay at home to show them how to live a proper life and that since I'm not married I am a threat to family values.

They are asses who probably still live in their mothers' basements. Don't let them get you down. I don't.
