I'm sure she'd like your help planning a venue, as she is having computer problems.

Also, I would like some suggestions on dive bars. I have been to lots of them in NY, but would love to find a place that you all go to and like, preferably with Happy Hours, free bar food, or drink specials. Oh, and the Sox will be playing the Yanks. I hope I don't get killed.

Are there any new bars we should check out?

How embarrassed should I be that I'll be spending my weekend drinking and shopping instead of doing cultural things? :blush:

I wouldn't worry about watching the game at a bar, I once went to a Yanks/Sox game at Yankee Stadium in full Red Sox gear and made it out alive. }(

5. There's a bar on Bleecker St that always has a game on

One block east of CBGB which is apparently closing soon - so you may want to check it out. I think the bar's on the corner of Crosby and Bleecker, I'll pass it tomorrow and will come back with a name.
