I was awoken early this morning by the sounds of family members getting ready to go fishing and a house being built across the street. Ugh.

Similiar circumstances here. I was kept up late helping a friend and had to wake early to help my husband. That means I've been operating with 3 1/2 hours of sleep today. Since I got up this morning I've helped my husband with two of his clients, replaced the fuel filter on "my" car, showed the contractor around the house which needs at least $6K worth of work ( :grr: ), did two sinks of dishes, three loads of laundry and just finished fixing a huge chicken dinner (baked chicken, seasoned potates, corn on the cob and strawberry shortcake) for my brothers and my nephew who I'm expecting anytime now.

Hopefully I'll catch a few winks before the relatives get in and before our new roommate gets home from work. On top of everything else this weekend we got a new roommate for an indeterminate length of time. He just broke up with his girlfriend so he and his 9 year-old daughter moved in.

Just had a better idea, I'm grabbing a beer and heading out to shade in the backyard to watch my tomatoes grow. If nothing else, it will relax me. And damn it, I deserve it.
